Wilda Ray

Funeral services for Wilda Faye Ray, 71, homemaker, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Joe Ray will officiate.

Mrs. Ray passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Cleburne.

She was born to William Preston and Sadie Mae Blocker Holt on February 28, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri. Faye married Preston Ray on July 8, 1967 in Fort Worth. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Fayes family was her life, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Teresa Holman; son, Michael Griffith; grandson, Jeremy Allmon; and brother, Oscar Bridges.
Survivors include her husband, Preston Ray; Sons, Dwayne Griffith and wife, Laura and Preston Wade Ray and wife, Lisa; step daughter, Terry Lynn Hope; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
