A gathering and visitation for William Floyd Bradburry, 81, of Cleburne will be held from 3:00-5:00 P.M., Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the funeral home.
William passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in Cleburne. He was born November 6, 1940, in Waco, Texas to Jessie Rufus and Mattie Lee (Aubrey) Bradburry. William married Martha Ann Giesen on May 6, 1961, in Cleburne. He was of the Baptist faith. William graduated in 1959 from Axtel High School and played football for Navarro Junior College. He worked as a pipefitter for Local 146 Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union of Fort Worth and for the Santa Fe Railroad. William was also a dairy farmer from 1976 to 1987 in Godley. He was a very giving man who enjoyed playing dominoes, gardening, sitting and watching storms, and dove and quail hunting. William was a handy man around the house. He was also a Mason with the Godley Lodge. He will be greatly missed.
William is survived by his wife, Martha Bradburry; daughters, Tina Sanchez, and Patti Baldridge; grandchildren, Ashley, Mercedes, Shane and wife, Kate, Travis and wife, Ashley, Patrick and Jalynn; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Annabelle, Levi, Caroline, Wyatt, Solomon, Selah, Benjamin, David, and Sawyer; brothers, Jimmy Webb and Rufus Bradburry; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, C.J., Marie, Peggy, Bruce, Lee Ray, Alton, twin infants, and his dog, Missy.
