William Gene Braswell passed away October 18, 2018 in Hillsboro. He was born September 30, 1954 in Cleburne to Oris Eugene and Billie Vassar Braswell. He married Zera Bennett on November 27, 1972 in Cleburne.

He was a self employed mechanic.

He is survived by his wife Zera Braswell of Hillsboro; daughters Norma Taylor and husband Michael of Blum, Yolanda Braswell of Hillsboro, Ginger Braswell and Danny Thompson of Hillsboro, Tabitha Hogan and husband Brian of Burleson; son Nicholas Braswell and wife Tabitha of Hillsboro and William Gene Braswell Jr. of Hillsboro; brothers Wayne Braswell of Whitney and Garth Braswell of Hillsboro; sisters Denise Velarde of Cleburne and Sandy Faught of Cleburne; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
