A graveside service for William “Bill” Brinker, 71, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Greenacres Memorial Park with a Celebration of Life service following at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Cleburne. Dr. Danny Crosby will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday at the funeral home.
William “Bill” Brinker passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Ft. Worth. He was born May 15, 1944 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to William Fisher Sr. and Rhodell Elizabeth Sickenberger Brinker. He married Claudia Crocker on April 13, 1991 in Burleson.
Mr. Brinker was a retired machinist and a loving husband, father, Poppy and BBQ master. He was of the Baptist faith. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia Brinker of Cleburne; sons, Kelly Lee Brinker and wife Nancy, Charles M. Crocker and wife Beth of Burleson, and Chris Crocker and wife Jennifer of Poulsbo, WA; daughters, Kim Howard and husband Tommy Fergason of Grandview and Cathy Daus and husband Dave of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Jennifer, Haley, Ryann, Charles, Bailey, Brendan, Felicity, and Tyler; great granddaughter, Faith; sisters, Patty Brinker and Alverda Bransom; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
