William Morrison

Graveside service for William "Buddy" Morrison, 63, of Godley will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 11, 2011 in the Godley Cemetery. The Reverend Rudy Rudwick will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Morrison passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born Sept. 9, 1947 in Denton to William Riley and Lorraine Bernice Martin Morrison. He married Paula Jean Adair on August 6, 1966 in Godley.

Buddy served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1972-1976. He was a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughters, Tonya Camp of Godley and Kathi Beasley and her husband, Ian Punches of Hillsboro; son, Jim Morrison and wife JaneAnn of Ft. Worth; eight grandchildren and one sister, Glenda Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Paula Jean Morrison on Sept. 15, 2010 and grandson, Dusty Lynn Bailey in 1990.
