Graveside services for William A. Roach, 76, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2009 in the DFW National Cemetery.
William A. Roach passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in Fort Worth.
William was born September 25, 1932 in Troy Grove, IL to William R. and Agnes Roach.
He was a 1st class airman in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Then moved to Cleburne in 1968 as plant manager of Capitol Silica and retired after 25 years of service. He owned R7R Remoldeling from 1978-1994.
William is survived by wife of 57 years, Shirley Roach, sons, William L. Roach (Sherrie), Dennis A. Roach (Jackie); daughters, Debra Martin (Steve) and Cathy Grim; grandchildren, D.J. Roach (Janelle), Travis Gilley (Mary), Kacey Wenk (Joe), Christy Spruiel (Stacey), Amy Castillo (JoJo), John Traylor (Crystal), April Roach, David Martin (Cami), Ashley Sharp (Pat) and Caitie Grim; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Margie Scerini (Frank), June Cook of Las Vegas and Mary Ann Sloter (Rocky) of IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one great-granddaughter.
Papa will be greatly missed.
