William Wofford

Graveside services for William L. "Bill" Wofford, 64 of Alvarado were conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 in the Glenwood Cemetery. Mr. BB Stevens officiated. Pallbearers were Randy Marshall, Billy Wofford, Bryan Mack, Joe Laney, Jason Roberts and Reese Goates.
Mr. Wofford passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 in Ft. Worth. He was born Nov. 11, 1944 in Needles, CA, to John William and Melba Dorothy Larsen Wofford. He married Francys J. Mack on Aug. 25, 1964 in Preston, Idaho. Mr. Wofford was a retired lineman for General Motors and was a professional bull rider for 11 years. He was a member of the Cowboys for Christ.
Mr. Wofford is survived by his wife, Francys Wofford of Alvarado; mother, Melba Dorothy Larsen of Needles, CA; son, Billy Wofford and wife Wendy of Cleburne; daughter, Ronda Marshall and husband Randy of Sunset; two granddaughters, Brandy and Brittney Wofford of Cleburne; five brothers, Reed of Grand Prairie, Robert of Needles, CA, Ronnie of San Diago, CA, Steven of San Diago, CA and Bernnie of Needles, CA; sister, Dorothy Huber of Bullhead City, AZ.
