Service for Willie Mae (Craft) Duff will be conducted at 12:30 P.M. Monday, January 6, 2020 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Willie Mae (Craft) Duff was born January 18, 1929 and passed from this life January 2, 2020. She lived 90 years, 349 days. Most of her family and friends just called her Bill, but Jeannie, Steve, Kristy, Troy and Susie, they just called her MOM.
Bill was raised in a very large family in the delta of Mississippi, and was the last surviving child of Maximilian and Bertha Cockrell who preceded her in death.
Bill is survived by daughter, Donnis Jean Holloway of Cleburne; sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Susie Craft of Union City, TN and Steve and Kristy Craft of Morgan Hill, CA; step-daughters, Karyn Franklin and Zella Dodson and husband Marvin. Seven grandchildren, Richard Holloway and wife Misty, Jennifer Thacker and husband Eric, both of Cleburne, Gayla Craft, Troy Lee Craft both of Fort Worth, Savannah, Makayla, and Atticus Craft plus one expected granddaughter, Stevie Bill Craft, all of Morgan Hill, CA. Nine great grandchildren, Mason and Morgan Holloway, Abby, Emma Sean, Jacob and Karlie Thacker, Korey Devon Penn and Ethan Craft. Plus numerous step- grandchildren and great step-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Lee Leonard Craft. She was also preceded by one daughter, Patricia Diane Craft, who died in infancy. In 1994 she married J.D. Duff. They had 14 wonderful years until he passed in 2008. She was preceded by one son-in-law who she loved for 23 years, Alvin Ricky Holloway.
