A memorial service for Willie Mosley III will be conducted on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 P.M. in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.
Willie Mosley III, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. Born on December 10, 1970, Willie spent his life as a devoted family man and a respected professional, leaving behind a legacy of love and hard work.
Willie is survived by his loving parents, Willie II and Carol Sue Mosley; mother-in-law, and Carry “Nanny” Prince, who provided him with a strong foundation of values and support throughout his life. He shared a cherished bond with his wife, Mary Ann Mosley, with whom he built a life filled with joy and adventure over many years of marriage. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, and spending time with family, especially his grandkids, was everything to him. He loved being outdoors. His job at “SCM” was like his second family. He was a proud father to Willie Mosley IV, Makayla Mosley and her husband Jacob Roberts, Brittany Honea and her husband Kacey, Brian Eddy and his wife Heather, Brandy Staley and her husband Drake, and Payton Botello and her husband Angel. Willie’s legacy extends to his 13 beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life and whom he adored dearly. Willie had a close relationship with his sister, Billie Hance, who was an important part of his life. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends, each of whom carries a memory or lesson from his life.
Willie was preceded in death by his son, Harley James McKinney, sisters, Delina Lynn Mosley, and Michelle Renee Mosley; as well as brother, James Daniel Mosley who are all remembered fondly, as a testament to the love and connection that anchored their family throughout Willie's life.
The impact of Willie's life continues to resonate through those who knew him; his generosity, kindness, and unwavering commitment to his family and career have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to be part of his journey. He will be sadly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
