Willie Pollard
Mr. Willie B. Pollard, Sr. , 86, of Cleburne passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Alvarado Meadows. He was born February 24, 1924 in Rio Vista to Robert W. and Lucinda Alexander Pollard. He married Carla Hill on December 22, 1979 in Cleburne.
He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He was an appliance repairman and a member of First Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Willie B. Pollard, Sr. is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carla Pollard of Cleburne; son, Willie B. Pollard, Jr.; daughter, Marie Elizabeth Pollard and one brother, Booker T. Pollard, all of Cleburne.; three sisters, Pearline Francis of Grandview; Laura Lowe of Cleburne and Castella Pollard of Arlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 15 brothers and sisters.
