Willie Smith

Services for Willie Smith, 80, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 5, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne and Reverend Donnie Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Maxie Fowler, Louie Mac English, Rick Fletcher, Danny Meador, Lonnie Meador and Ken Meador. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Sunday.

Mrs. Willie Smith passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in Ft. Worth. She was born June 10, 1929 in Blum to Harris Estell and Nancy Emma Oneal Meador. She married Jim Ben Smith on July 16, 1949 in Cleburne.

Willie was a retired supervisor for Lorch-Westway Mfg. Co. with over 39 years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Barber and husband Darren of Cleburne; sister, Frances Fletcher; brothers, James Meador of Granbury, Joe Meador of Arlington and David Meador of Burleson; grandsons, George Mears, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Jimmy Mears and wife Carmen, Casey Barber and fiance Shandale; 6 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Ben in 2000; brother, Henry Meador and sister, Georgia Reagan.
