Service for Willie Mae Spears, 87, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Neale Oliver. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Willie Mae Spears passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 in Keene. She was born May 17, 1930 in Cleburne to Yater and Florence Annie Dempsey Temple. She married Mitchel Monroe Spears on March 25, 1950 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Spears worked as a cafeteria supervisor for Cleburne ISD, retiring with 14 years of service. She was a member of Henderson St. Baptist Church.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 67 years, Mitchel Spears of Cleburne; sons, Mitchel M. “Mike” Spears, Jr. and wife Vickie of Cleburne and Gary Don Spears and wife Juli of Granbury; five grandchildren, Kevin, Kristi, Gina, Stephen and Brandi; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
