Zelma Lackey

Her parents were Pearl and Pete Carr. She was born March 14, 1923 in Johnson County, Texas. She was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church, where she taught Sunday School and vacation Bible School. She was always doing for others. Her pride and joy was her family. She worked many years at Dairy Queen and CISD.
Zelma Doris Lackey is survived by her daughter, Pat Grundy and husband Joe, of Tuscola, TX; sons, James Lackey, Earl Lackey and wife Faye, Kenneth Lackey and wife Connie, Bobby Lackey and wife Jeanette all of Cleburne; brother, A. E. Carr and wife Gayle and numerous nieces and nephews; eleven grandchildren fourteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Lackey, daughter, Joyce Oneita Lackey, brother, Roy Lee Carr, sister, Estelline Blackwell and her parents.
